New paper published on mid-infrared single-photon generation
/We have published a new paper in Journal of the Optical Society of America B, written in collaboration with Francesco Graffitti and Dr. Alessandro Fedrizzi (http://www.mostlyquantum.org/). The paper, titled Numerical investigation of mid-infrared single-photon generation, is the first step towards the demonstration of quantum imaging and sensing at wavelengths above 5 microns, which can be realised thanks to a host of novel semiconductor and chalcopyrite materials that are transparent at longer wavelengths.
